I am hearing the deal was extremely well subscribed (people I know who subscribed got next to nothing) and some are saying it was miss priced they probably could have got it away at 6 cents, easy to say in hindsight, but safe to assume Tribeca drove the price.
At the end of the day the stock has traded a vwap of 5.4 cents for the last 10 months, so hard to argue with the price really. But totally agree jopha , 1 billions shares have been sold over the last month , half of which were essentially issued for free to unlisted TSV/TMK holders and half issued at 5.3 cents, so laws of supply and demand are going to weigh you would think, but happy to be surprised.
As Stein has said til he's blue in the face , he believes/knows our lands are worth $4,500 per acre and rising based on transactions that are going on at analogous lands (values us at $325mill or 22 cents) . He sees drilling confirmation as a formality and a box ticking exercise before the Canadians/Americans turn up with serious cash, (although there could be a longer game here now that tribeca is on board and prepared to fund potential further drilling). Clearly Tribeca agrees , so my guess is some money follows them and we have a look at 10 cents at some stage pre drilling.
Market surprised we are not back trading yet, we are all praying there has not been an upsize, as that destroys the after market.
