We called the board meeting in August (from the mention that timetable of the deal had been brought forward), some smart people found out it is held on the 4th Saturday of the month, thus the trading halt was to be expected this morning.

Just because the board approved on Saturday doesn't mean its finalized, the board approves the deal but the company and the right signatory in the company needs to sign it today or tomorrow to complete it.

My view is that this deal is priced into the stock, we probably will get 5% bounce on the announcement as a few shorters cover but I doubt this changes the markets current view on the stock and the sector in general.

If they also announce something else like a joint venture and the use of their tech then that would be a surprise to the market and we should get some follow through.

I don’t believe it was priced in as we were still uncertain about the cash.

I expect a 20%+ jump on the open.
