Now that's the thing. It was a lock, but there was enough uncertainty to allow downramping and panic-mongering misinformation.

One could understand the deal was a near-certainty while also understanding near enough was not good enough for many.

The situation has changed fundamentally. The sentiment around lithium has improved, and SDV is significantly de-risked.

And I think GXY may have something else up its sleeve in addition to the POSCO deal as we currently understand it. If the TH continues today, that's almost certainly the case.

I also have a sneaky suspicion that there is more to this TH than to simply announce that the POSCO deal has been done... Downstream or offtake deals maybe? Or perhaps the immediate commencement of SDV work. Maybe a little James Bay snippet? Time will tell. All the best legends!
