I.e. they realised today was going to be a bloodbath and quickly looked for something worthy of a TH because they'd missed their opportunity to halt for the real issue being the non ASX listing.

Honestly, I can't be bothered having to watch Singapore and fill out all this paperwork and would probably bail if I could do so at a decent price. I imagine many are having the same thoughts.
