Fair enough commentary. Have to say that I personally don't really care that much about CEO's lifestyles - and not ignoring where you are coming from. That changes if it is clear that they are milking the company of course. I've seen no evidence of that - and I also don't know what the life circumstances of any of the managerial team of MXC are outside of the company. They may have come from very wealthy backgrounds. I tend to concentrate on what most of us refer to "fundamentals" in a companies operations. These can change fairly quickly as we all know.
We've all had a go at listing the good elements in MXC so I won't regurgitate any of those.
In the end, we are all investors hoping to make a profit - we have timespans for doing that - some short and some taking a longer view. We hope to get it right at least 51% of the time.
Most of us do some research though I would suggest that even that makes us bold gamblers to some extend. Like most people I see if there are more positives than negatives, accept that they get it right all the time but if they seem to have a plan and have a strategy that supports that plan, then they are worth the punt. Most of us would accept that the ducks seem to be lining up at the moment for MXC so I will continue to support the company until I see something that makes me feel more uncomfortable.
