Hi jophda..
One of the attractions to SGC for me was a relatively low number of shares on issue.
To expand by issuing more would not concern me..
Ok..we are speculating about a CR in any case...but my preference would be that a scrip issue is made at a higher price signifying the value of the material aquisition..rather than slam the SP in favor of giving current holders the opportunity to get some more cheaper.
Mums and dads cant always participate..so an appreciating sp is far more attractive, (and i guess im talking personally here) than having my holding diluted while potentially i wait a few years for the new aquisition to appreciate..
Its xmas time...there are presents to buy...
