I agree, Telstra is a good example. I actually think it is a big deal that Digicel go, not because it is digicel, it is simply a confidence thing. Highlights the challenges of a reseller channel and that it is not really gaining momentum as quickly as DM led us to believe and SH really start to question if the channel models is another failure for BUD. The hype around Digicel was huge, flew the guy to Oz, attended conferences in central america and if I recall BUD set up a Florida office just to manage central/south america, and at this stage, it is all for nothing.
What happened to that Hotel case study out of this region. They showed huge savings, why isnt this been pushed out harder?
Direct sales is the key here for faster take up and it gives you control on your destiny, no one has true control of a channel. GLTAH
