The whole concept of launching a rocket in to space from a boeing 747, in a similar fashion to Virgin Orbit.
Interesting thing to note which I dont think has been mentioned here is that the expected launch cost per launch is US$10-12m (source:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LauncherOne). I understand that the virgin orbit launch is dedicated for SAS, so does that mean their launch cost will be US$10m? How are they going to pay for that and also the construction, which is estimated at ~$600k per satellites (approx $9m aud).
So launch = conservative AUS $10m, construction = $9m.
This $15mil will not cut it
