Australia is wealthy by luck. We simply export out raw materials to nations with an absolute advantage. They value add to our products because we dont have the skills, technology and or cost of labor to be able to value add domestically.
Hence the whole manufacturing industry (prominently cars) has all but been disintegrated. End of the mining boom, end of property up cycle, low interest rates and record house hold debt. 26 years without a recession but for how long?
This is my 1 and only concern with holding galaxy. Its linked to the asx 200. I would prefer to see a dual listing ASAP.
