Yeh, you can't go around extending options or moving goal posts willy nilly, investor decisions have already been made on those parameters...

Without delving into company ann's....did management say that they would be trying to extend the oppie expiry?
The ASX rule is clear that they can't extend the expiry and it seems the SP has dropped below what would make that worthwhile anyway?
The mind boggles that the company would put BS like that in an ann.
