The majority (with a few standout exceptions) high grade underground gold mines in the West Australian goldfields would only be mining loads between 1 to 3 metres in width, including assets that have produced fantastic amounts over long mine life's. Some of the more well known examples would include; (excuse the cut and past from various ASX announcements)
Andy Well (Doray)- (typically only 1 to 3 m wide)l -
Daisy Milano (Silver Lake Resources)- Often less than 1m width however produced more than 1 million Oz to date
Bellvue (Bellvue)-
Vivien (Ramelius Resources)-
Also most have produced from depths many hundreds of metres deeper than the Penny West intersections of btn 120m-170m range;
