I've got to say that the information provided has left me feeling as if there are pieces of a puzzle that have been omitted. First up I want to know if ABV are giving away their intellectual property rights by making this design for what is to all extents and purposes a pathetic amount of money. Thales is under no obligation to use ABV as the manufacturer and are free to either engage another manufacturer or themselves to make the brakes.
What's to stop them using that design or elements of it in other vehicles? Are ABV giving away everything for a lousy 100k or so? They need to come good with an explanation as to what happens with the intellectual property rights and they need to do it posthaste before people like me start to doubt the smarts of the company. This could be a fantastic opportunity or it could be one of the stupidest moves imaginable. We need more information to say which way the pendulum swings.
