The only way this works, is if people buy and sell shares. Buy and hold, calculating for any capital raising dilution to get to mining, you really limit insiders ability to push price up.
When demand increases, but shareholders sit on their shares, it not only pushes the price up but will turn the head of anyone looking to take over - you either push the sitter at a low price to sell, or wait until the price is way up and push them. But either way, you have to push them. That means you and I get the BBD - Bigger Better Deal.
