Well spoke with the ASX and then the company, the "trading halt" has been requested as per item 1,
To announce the SPP shortfall placement.......

Hmmmmm, who could it be that would be so keen to take up the shortfall, considering Xcel Capital (Bulesco) would be eager to get the shortfall placed as they will gain 6% of any shortfall money raised.
Will they take them up themselves?
Will Tomsic (through related parties) and himself finally release becoming a substantial holder notice, or maybe Xcel (Bulesco and Tomsic) have sold?
Will King release a change in substantial holders notice if he bails GPP out again by taking up some of the shortfall?
Will our other directors/staff show some confidence in the proposed gold acquisition and the ION projects by being offered and taking up shortfall shares?
Have they been able to place enough of the shortfall to keep running the company because the kitty is getting bare, and to what detriment of the Julie Creek and other ION projects, if the haven't placed enough?
Will the OHD finally die a horrible death due to the lack of funds, which has been the norm since they shifted into the CTL way back in 2013/14?

All will be revealed no doubt, but maybe the "salesmen" have been able to pull a rabbit out of the hat considering their credentials were well spruiked when GPP entered into the ION acquisition? It is obvious the "carrot" (Gold) acquisition wasn't enough to interest weary shareholders, doh
