The interesting thing about this trading halt was that it was announced at 9.37am EST
Ten minutes after the notice of voluntary administrators being appointed over at Gascoyne Resources .
My thoughts are that NRW deserves a medal for all the effort it has put into this project and all the support it has given it .
Most likely this started well before last August when Jules used valuable time in his presentation at the Diggers & Dealers * to vouschafe our company appreciated the work and would stand by Gascoyne.
Albeit it needed to, because of the investment in equipment and more, but the fact is it has stood by - right up until this end.
...and considering Wall Street on Friday, quite apart from any fear and loathing around GCY, it’s not a bad time to be in a trading halt?
*It was the first year mining services companies had been offered a chance to present since the forum was founded in 1992 and the only other company offered this chance was Ausdrill whose founder, the very respected Ron Sayers, was retiring (and concurrently collected the G?J. stokes Memorial Award https://thewest.com.au/business/min...lects-g-j-stokes-memorial-award-ng-b88922508z)
