Im not surprised this is happening, but there is no benefit to the shareholders for the options to be underwritten because all it will do is reduce the NTA for current shareholders.
This only benefits management by having more funds under management leading to more fees.
The sharemarket is full of companies run by people who's actions are for the benefit of management and not shareholders.
