I'm sure that there will be 2 or possibly 3 vessels assigned to the rig (probably 2). One will be there at all times as a 'safety' measure, and the other will be running in and out of Hedland or Karratha for supplies. If we presume that the 8.5" section has been drilled to final depth of around 4500m, then you'd expect one of the boats to be bringing the 7" liner and drilling equipment for the smaller hole section, 6" or 6.125". In fact, you'd think those items would already be at the rig, so there's no reason as to why 1 or 2 vessels would not be alongside. Sorry if I'm missing something.
