In that part of the world, they don't want to shut down the operations - they just want to transfer ownership to the State or friends/families of those in power. With gold rallying, they've clearly seen an opp to snatch the very valuable asset from Aussie SH.
I don't think this will end well or resolve itself quickly, although I do hope for SH sake that it does.
