That's where THC have it all over the other Oz MC companies. They can do contract extraction and R & D for other growers and importers, and could run a very profitable business at Southport without even growing anything. Extracting and marketing resins and oils is a huge business in its own right, and with the licences which THC hold, they are not restricted to doing contract work and R & D for just Australian companies. There's a whole new world opening up out there with many cultivators and pharmaceutical manufacturers needing a facility like Southport, and contracting with or buying from THC can save them the huge expense and licensing hassles of building their own lab and processing facility.
CAN are unlikely to have a facility with anything like the capabilities of Southport, and are likely to concentrate more on cultivation. They have a long road ahead to get Mildura into production.
