The only reason it should take this long, is if they need to verify information with someone who isn't in the office yet (USA, Europe etc.) The Japanese should be at work by now.
I will be very disappointed if we get get a bog standard announcement which states that they don't know why the SP has been going up.
My guess for an announcement is tomorrow morning if good news, late this afternoon if bad news.
