Wow wee sounds like a scoff and I thought you are much much better than that. Superiority over people is a weakness, yet superiority in knowledge is the best endeavour we can all work toward - like you Zabba - you're analytical stuff and writings is excellent and first class and I always enjoy your posts, but please don't get above yourself - you can't help others that way. God knows I need help too.
I was contemplating (based on HC chat of TO recently) that a biopharm spec would get a TO offer based on the outcome of their acne study. Since they went for a CR, what does that say. They have permetrex, they have anti-bacterial etc. Why CR? Sounds like no-one was really interested in a TO when Vince tested the waters. I find that quite odd based on the so called wonderful discoveries they're having. Not even 1 ridiculous offer, so a bit nerving, so now Vince has to go to an on-seller, an agent on an agent in my eyes. I guess there were no restrictions on how Vince could sell the business and going to an on-seller is just spreading your wings, so not a bad strategy at all really.
These are all just thoughties and general worry and delusion - but I'm just an uneducated Aussie - i cant offer more than my concerns, and they are real. None of us really know, it's all spec, unless you're the parrot on the board room wall and today instead of "I know" its more like "Oh No" to me.
So from reading Cowen, they are a bit in to M&A in growth sectors. Sounds really super terrific Zabba.
However, with my view on deceit, a CR in a few months is quite different from today and that MC recently stated "no CR, go to market". Yes, maybe a CR in a few months was probable, but to come like this out of left field is thought provoking and, as I said, appears deceitful. In a few months it would not appear like this, as that was what would have prob happened (and may still happen too - another CR, as has been anticipated). Correct Zabba. But I'm talking today and todays CR, I wasn't talking later on in the year, so sorry to confuse you and others'.
As it turns out, everyone seems to think that Cowen is a great thing and BOT may have had to let them know due diligence stuff prior to purchasing, so others have answered my queries and thoughties, rather than suggesting that "wow wee, maybe the market isn't for you".
