I think the only half valid reason is that initially, some of those holes might have been purely exploration (first phase) holes. Possibly assayed for different metals instead of a multi element.
Adding to that, the other reason may be, previous owners possibly wanted the cheapest possible way of placing an inferred together, which might have meant once again, restrictions on capital so no multi element assaying?
They’re the only reasons I can think of anyway!
