Very hard for the goverment to get anything meaninful accomplished this past 8 yrs, with what has predominantly been a hung parlimont.
I dont have anyhting against the Greens & I'm all for making the world a cleaner place for my Children. But the fact remains, that around the world currently we have over 600 New Coal fired Power station under construction in 25 Countries. So clearly the rest of the world are not going to stop using coal anytime soon. Australia with a very small population of under 30million people could litterally stop :
- Coal Generated Power
- Coal Export
- Meat production
- Burning of all fossil fuels
We wouldnt make a dent on global emmissions, while all of the Largest Polluters( with populations in the Billions ) carry on the status quo & increase production. Australian poltics have been farsical to say the least, with most parties only operating on policy focused on getting them through the next election, with no forward planning..........................................

of AUD $210M for 600,000 tonnes per annum(tpa) capacity.These initial estimates for a multi-module development have been further refined and, as referenced in our12 April 2019, the Company is now focused on initially deploying as a single module at a scale of 170,000-300,000 tpa. This scale will form the unit basis of development for the Latrobe Valley project movingforward.In line with this, the next stage of the feasibility program, to be completed over the coming months, hasfocused on a detailed, in-depth assessment of specific site requirements at Yallourn power station (coalsupply, waste heat integration and electrical tie-ins) and scope refinement for the engineering designprogram, led by the ECT engineering team.The feasibility program is expected to be completed within 8 weeks and deliver the necessary detail for atender program and delivery of the plant design and refined capital and operating costs estimates.ECT expect the basic engineering will then be completed in a further 16 weeks and take the project toinvestment-ready stage.
