I'm a newbie, so take this with ample grains of salt. Further to my previous post, I've also had a look at some of my other shareholdings and trading halts have been called to announce events such as share buybacks, share purchase schemes and proposals for takeover. My personal feeling is that any sort of announcement about advancing the tech would just be announced without the need for a trading halt as they have done in the past. Given that we've just had an SPP, my gut says it's one of two things - a total collapse or a takeover proposal.
