There’s a postscript to taking out MSB to a few bars the other night.
After ddwn and MSB finally found the song “confirmation bias” in the jukebox under the category “disorder of the mind” we all had a dance with our jugs of illusions in hand.
@ddwn dared me to step up to fling some coin in. I produced my SMART card and waved it at the jukebox. It went all funny....it probably wasn’t used to smart money before.
it didn’t even give me a chance to select a song. It immediately played Billy Joel and Silvio ran onto the dance floor in delight, joining MSB in doing their best two-step they could muster.
They mumbled through a few lines, then halfway through the song they broke out, shouting a line in this very famous song.
”We’ve partnered with the children on Thalidomide!”
and then they did the best air guitar I’ve ever seen.
