They plan to start trials once FDA approves their Investigational New Drug application, and subsequently to that once they raise the necessary funds to begin. The application was submitted absolutely yonks ago and despite having QIDP fast tracked status, the application has been held up for reasons known best by the company. The hints we have been given were issues around properly defining the molecular structure of the compound and having to produce copious more data around this. The company was supposedly employing other specialist companies to assist with this. Since then the trail has gone a bit cold for me. So if anyone knows anything more please enlighten us!!
