The optimistic in me wants to believe the narrative -
It was a reactive (not a proactive) response by the company to suspicious trading activity prior to the organised announcement of the company scheduled for Wednesday this week and/or perhaps the word got out that good news is coming and they wanted to do the right thing by the ASX and shareholders to stop insider trading. Just a thought. They want to firm up the report and numbers to make sure its correct before taking it to us.
The negative in me thinks the opposite - I guess we will see.
We can all agree it is very strange.
