It’s not quite that bad as that as ... VRS has sucked profits/dividends out of the business ($4.3M) and a good chunk of the purchase was from issued shares ($7M worth). And they’re actually getting $13.9M for it ($13M + $900K div). So on that basis they’ve made a modest return.
But agree, that It’d have been better to get rid of the non-core business.
Unfortunatley it may be hard to remove Lamond as a director since he holds ~12% of stock. He should remove himself as a executive tho and step back to a non-exec director role. Ditto for Brian too now Elton has been sold. Together that would save ~$700Kpa.
