Adam still there as there as although 100,000 votes were recorded to remove him ... 190,000 voted to keep him. A good chunk of those votes to stay were of course his own plus the board. Why others voted to keep him - who knows? But in anyone’s language that’s a massive no-confidence vote from independent shareholders!!
On the other hand, Brian is there because shareholders overwhelmingly wanted to keep him. The Elton business continues to kick goals but unfortunately he got thrown a hospital pass on the surveying business after others had stuffed it up. IMO he’s done a good job in starting the turnaround there. The Elton business kicked goals - but I’d suggest it could have done better if he wasn’t distracted by surveying problems. As only 14,000 votes were cast to remove him (and 20 times more than that to keep him) ... it’s fair to say most shareholders value his capability and efforts (as I do).
