I was wondering the same thing Furiousgeorge.
Maybe there is some requirement about the timing that I am not aware of. The letter from VIC is dated 24th which was obviously Sunday. The ASX letter is dated 25th (Monday). Maybe the ASX has determined that more time should be allowed until Wednesday 27th to make sure VIC has the opportunity to get it all together in time. Can't understand why that would be unless the ASX wants time to study the results announcement before giving its okay. In other words taking a cautious approach given the history of VIC over the last year.
Certainly no sign of any announcement from VIC at this stage on Tuesday morning.
