The maths:
Currently 154m shares @57cps = M/cap $ 88m
Cap raise 36m shares $18m
Post raise 190m shares $106m = 54cps
SPP to current shareholders to raise $5m = 1 new share for every 15 held
A little speculation:
Where the SP goes depend where the shares have gone, sounds like plenty of interest and possibly oversubscribed, hopefully institutional investors, if so little short term impact. If “sophisticated” investors they will be in for a quick buck and the SP will languish till soaked up. There is a possibility that if the SPP is underwritten the SP will go below 50cents as the underwriter chases additional shares - this will be a very good buying opportunity.
