Another possibility is an AI Investment Fund like Softbank. But for any single strategic investor a trading halt seems less likely than a for group, placement, unless of course they were concerned about the implications of the recent buying being some form of insider trading from 'in the know' related parties. BRN have a long and inglorious history of disappointing on the downside however, which ought to temper any optimism.
