You are right. But insider trading would not occur on a dud deal, only a relevant size or change that would effect the market one way or the other.
I note ASX normal practice in their documentation on trading halts is to, in this case take it to the maximum first instance. That is before start of trading Tuesday. Still JAT only requested before start of trading Monday. Despite this request JAT has the ability to wait until Tuesday if they need to. I doubt they will but they are entitled to.
Come on Vmeat. This would have the biggest positive benefit for SP IMO.
