Oh, I spoke to Carmie earlier the week and my post above doesn't rule out what you describe. Still, the whole thing is opaque and may be morphing as we speak. One thing I will say is Mike Young is no babe in the woods so will get a decent price if that's what it is. Underneath it all is the Ni price someone is going to value the thing on. Value it on a US$8.20 /lb price and I'm there.
Now it may be more clear why I was focusing on NPV. I'm not saying anything (yet) about Ashanti valuation but I'm on record as saying it's skinny relative to what you guys expect even with 20 yrs mine life v's the 15 yrs (at 10 MTPA) I'm using. (or maybe I'm just a greedy git. BPAA will know I'm relatively fresh form the OZL T/O of AVC 1.5 yrs ago).
