As a newbie the main thing is don't get sucked into hype, pickup on stocks here, but research facts elsewhere , look at charts, often the talk is up, but the chart might be down for example. Read up about charts, esp resistance, support and patterns to apply for your entry and exits. Charts always tell the truth. Ie they show what people do. And most important set what your prepared to loose per investment, and stick to it, versus holding as you'll get back your loss on the next one. One can never get all correct, but if you get 7 out of 10 correct and limit the 3 losses youll do well. If you let the 3 losses run, they will clean out your profits on the 7 good ones, also ties up your money.
