    Check the wording of the announcement: "regarding the outcome....".
    Suggests to me, its a done deal, and doesn't require a vote.
    Sound like a new entity is acquiring shares, as stated in @mcbeardsly's post.
    My breath is bated and waiting for confirmation !!!

    Hopefully @mbenz500 has hit the nail on the head.
