Agreed on all of that except the "just". The crash started last week and I moved all my super out of equities the week before. Even if SARS-2/Cov-19 went away tomorrow the ripple and cascade effects of getting the world back into production will not be fully apparent for at least another 6-12 months.

"Just" is not a word anyone should ever use in Mining though. Apart from the fact that 5Moz is equivalent to over AU$10 billion, we're looking at minimum 3-5 years to get to production out of this one. The earlier prospects are probably sooner though. I admit I haven't looked at progress on getting those to Reserve status for a while.

Say 12 months to a decent resource. 12 months for a back-of-envelope, fast-tracked pre-feasibility (normally 3-4 years for something that sort of size. Ask anyone who knows). Another 12 months for proper feasibility, permitting and FEED. Luckily it's not NSW or South Aust, you would need to work on at least 3 years for permitting post-PFS. Few months pre-strip, looks like it's only got 10-30 metres of cover on it. 12 months construction and commissioning of a plant. Maybe 3-4 years in total and $250-400M in capex.

But as you say - great window of opportunity at the moment. I'm expecting VG in the RC chips. Cant think of anything else that would cause the wording they used yesterday.
