Although everything at this stage is speculation, I hardly see that there can be any positive aspect to this halt, over and above the status quo pre-halt.
In hindsight (what a useless, depressing excuse that can be) trial disruption and delay has been a no brainer ever since Oupa raised concerns (28th Feb - SP $2.12). Would have been a great opportunity to protect capital and take a temporary exit - never has been my style though. It has been at the back of my mind ever since. Not now of course as it is at the front.
Whatever, I hope that the welfare of these vulnerable girls is the first and foremost consideration and that they are protected to the greatest extent possible along with the integrity of the trial as a secondary concern. If both these considerations are achieved the worst case scenario will be a delay which we will all have to suck in.
