Rettsyndrome.org, a leading US Rett non-profit and advocacy group, has long been a supporter of Neuren and Trofinetide, to the extent it holds equity in the company.
Its current advice to Rett families is: "Unless you are notified by your provider, please do not assume that clinic visits or clinical trial visits are cancelled. Both of these are considered medically necessary; contact your provider for questions or concerns."
This doesn't mean that Acadia won't suspend the trial, of course. But it's interesting that a body like Rettsyndrome.org, with all of its scientific advisers and knowledge of the condition, isn't ruling out clinical trial participation. If anything, its advice at this stage is to keep participating.
