It's very hard to know if this will be good or bad for EML, but I think the market has already factored in the acquisition going ahead at the same terms that were announced prior to the world going into shutdown with COVID.
It is a very good & complimentary business they are buying, but the question is the price too high now?
Cancelling the deal would definitely see the SP rise significantly IMO - as EML would have a heap of cash on their balance sheet for other (probably very well priced) opportunities, and the current market cap is too low for all that cash.
Revised terms of the deal should also have a positive effect on the SP IMO.
Overall, it will be very good to have certainty over what is happening with this deal.
