All I know is that it is a good time for the Chinese to take major positions in companies that need cash.
Bromine is a big part of the manufacture of many things as a fire retardant on plastic casings of electrical goods and for water treatment and agriculture ,China supplies most of the manufactured products in the world that requires Bromine.
India does a lot of fertilisers and would be looking to expand there manufacturing of many goods for customers who want to move away from purchasing Chinese goods.
It makes sense that the Chinese would want to take a major stake in what could be a very valuable Bromine resource in the USA ,while share prices are low ,or maybe even a company from India.
No one will be happy with issuing shares at such a low price ,but every other company looking for cash in the world is in the same position as ASN.
