The point I was trying to make is the POV test cannot be used in the first few days of infection to confirm you do not have the virus as antibodies are obviously not generated yet.

At the point antibodies are generated and detected byy the test you now cannot use the test to demonstrate you ARE CLEAR of the VIRUS as antibodies don’t prove the virus has gone. If you know more maybe you can confirm this..
Thus as a diagnostic tool for the virus there is not much value. The only value is to confirm someone has had the virus, but if I was manager of an old people’s home I would also want a second test that confirms even though you have virus antibodies the virus is actually gone and no longer infectious.. I guess that is just me though. As I said I want cdy to fly as much as anyone but I suspect this will be a short lived spike, make the most of it.
