The funding is in place and signed up until some time in Sept 2020 according to other announcements. So it is difficult to determine exactly what this is about. The funding arrangements did have the customary conditions in place so maybe they are indicating that the MAC (in this case specific figures are quoted in the deal) has been breached as pointed out by another poster. What other scenarios might cause an announcement of this type - IMO cancelling the dividend component of the funding - changing any of the dates or rates on the agreement - negotiating a change in the overall value of the funding - all of which might cause PNC to consider how they would affect the Scheme Arrangement. Not a good look by any means and in the conditions we have at the moment you would have to expect the worst. BTW I notice that this announcement was not co-signed by either Keith John or Citadel Magnus - why not?
