Yeah, I fell into the WBC trap too thinking that retail price was a steal, we are all geniuses with the benefit of hindsight.
QBE might well fall further and very luck with your strategy to keep monies aside for that eventuality.
At the end of the day it’s all about judgement and balancing your risk appetite, remembering that if you are investing in solid companies like QBE (only a small % of my overall portfolio) it is a medium to long term horizon that’s most important. And I remember well the advice that trying to pick the bottom of a share price is very difficult, but be happy that you buy in at levels where the company is truly undervalued like QBE at the moment
