An interesting development - PNC has repudiated the SIA according to my interpretation of the announcement. Carlyle claim they have wrongfully repudiated it. This is now also becoming a case of who might have breached the SIA and who is going to pay the fee as well as the other accusations laid out by Carlyle. PNC are apparently relying on the delay by Carlyle in reaching agreement on the terms of the SIA as being the reason why the SIA could not have been implemented before the sunset date of June 5th 2020. Plausible I guess.
