MacBank's position is likely one of the funds it acts as custodian for and not a position of MacBank directly. It looks like Carlyle were fishing for the termination fee on the Scheme rather than wanting it to proceed. The Job Keeper and Job Seeker payments are certainly supportive of household income. The deflationary cost of living (rent etc) is also helpful. But unless you know the composition of the underlying book, it is all speculation.
