While, it seems, the general concensus seems to be unimpressed IMO this could turn out to be one of KTDs better moves. It certainly won't do it any harm to be seen to be associated with bigger manufacturers - wouldn't it be interesting if this product got sold out of Wal-Mart.
I've been checking the web for comments on the product and it seems Bailey's non-Alcoholic milks are quite a popular product. Firstly, they seem to be established and already sold out of Dan Murphy's and Coles, (though the announcement didn't mention either of these as included in the licence deal - maybe Dan Murphys is covered by Woolworths).
Maskes you weonder who had the licence before and why they don't now.
I'll keep my eye out for the product and give it a try if I find one.
Having said that - I'm wondering how trying to do business with Hong-Kong or China is going to go down. If I was in business I wouldn't be relying on it right now.
End of the day, it's not about turnover - it's about profit.
