So while we are just spitballing here how about this as a theory:
Many of us have considered that the SP had been artificially kept down recently. Many also thought that the time frame of the trial was being artificially extended, maybe by a certain company saying "just one more doggie" or "just one more Veterinary clinic" or maybe "just one more month of progression free survival" ? We won't sign a deal until you jump through more hoops.
But then along came Covid 19 and someone in PAA thought, hey maybe MPL would help with that, lets get it tested. So they did, and MAYBE things at WEHI are starting to look exciting in the test tube. Now if news of success at WEHI was released things could well explode for PAA and they may get all the funding and help that they need from all corners of the world. So much so in fact that they may decide that the K9 side of things could just be put on the back burner for now. PAA is now fully funded from Covid funds and no longer a small fish in a big pond. Now they could go straight to human trials all by them themselves. Leaving the K9 "golden egg" until older patents that others hold expire, leaving them with full control. IMHO of course.

The prospect of a covid 19 treatment using MPL may just have been the catalyst that was needed galvanise a prospective business partner into action and stop them pussy footing (pun intended) around. They want the results, so they can sign the deal and as NZT has said many times get MPL back into their stable...........Like I said, just spitballing and all IMHO

ALSO IMO, Monday (we won't have to wait until Tuesday) will be the day we'll get the K9 results and maybe even some sort of Elanco announcement too? Things should really start to move then and we'll still be waiting for WEHI but it won't matter so much if it is not a success because we've got the K9 results announced. If it is a success though!! WOW..........Is it Monday yet?
