My thoughts are that if we can see this, why can't these "professionals" shorters see it? Of course they can, but how do they exit as painlessly as possible?
Why have they increased their short positions? Ridiculous - Shorters "we can't get out, so let's double down on a higher SP to recover some lost ground?" What's "professional" about this approach?
ATM, I'm no longer too worried about professional shorters really. I'm just intrigued by their lack of common sense. Step back and look at the bigger picture - surely anyone can see that there's more upside risks than downside!
