my all singing one is fastened via Velcro at the back of the head, easy to put on and take off and comfortable. I too thought the would take advantage of an activated carbon filter. They should be embarrassed with the thing they have come up with, best thing they can do now is stop making them and sell what they have after reducing the price ten fold and chalk it down to experience
